Moores Marine Yacht Center in Beaufort, N.C., has become known as a sort of rescuer of American relics.
The company specializes in antique and classic wooden boat restoration and holds a niche as the country’s leading restorer of the classic Trumpy-designed luxury yachts.
“There are only about 70 to 80 of them left and the number is shrinking every day,” said Nathaniel Smith, operations manager.
