The Coast Guard Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to the education and welfare of Coast Guard members and their families, announced this year’s Run to Remember campaign and its Fallen Heroes Fund commemorative T-shirt campaign.
The Coast Guard Foundation’s Run to Remember is a worldwide movement that honors United States Coast Guard heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their country. Over the last several years, thousands of people have participated in road races, memorial walks and other types of fitness events across the globe.
Since its inception in 2011, Run to Remember has raised more than $165,000 to support the men and women of the Coast Guard and their families. Most importantly, these events honor the brave individuals who have given their lives so others may live.
