The Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival is coming to New London from Sept. 11-13, featuring a range of activities for visitors of all ages in celebration of our state’s maritime heritage, history and spirit of innovation.
The weekend of activities includes a lighted boat parade, visits by schooners from up and down the east coast, a schooner race, dockside educational programs for schoolchildren, the Second Annual New London Chowder Challenge, and a Connecticut Made Expo with unique Connecticut-made products designed by some of the area’s most talented artisans and craftsmen.
