An Oklahoma couple aboard a cruise ship in the Caribbean cruise suddenly became witnesses to a rescue south of Cozumel.
More than a dozen people Cuban nationals were aboard makeshift sailboat. They said they had been adrift for about a month trying to get to Mexico.
A Coast Guard crew arrived and took the refugees aboard their vessel.
