Three dolphins — including one that was beached for a time — were successfully herded out to deeper water by rescuers Wednesday from inside Wellfleet Harbor at Herring River, a spokesman with the International Fund for Animal Welfare said.
The effort involved using an IFAW inflatable Zodiac to zig-zag behind the dolphins and slowly move them out of Wellfleet Harbor, said Michael Booth.
