Easter sunrise service takes place along the Miles River on April 8 from the historic Tolchester Beach Bandstand at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Md.

Officiating the service are the Rev. Mark Nestlehutt, Christ Church, St. Michaels Parish; the Rev. Emanuel Johnson, Union United Methodist Church; and the Rev. Sam Hale, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Coordinated and led by St. Michaels area churches, the service has taken place at the waterfront museum for more than 10 years. The service is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m., and is free and open to the public.
