Capt. Tyler Macallister said his vessel, the F/V Cynthia C, was about 6 miles southwest of Provincetown, Mass., on Monday when a 16- to-18-foot great white shark showed up for a meet and greet.
“This one knew it was an apex predator. It knew that it had no fear,” Macallister told the Cape Cod Times.
“She literally looked right up at us,” he said. “They are the blackest onyx eyes you’ll ever see.”
