Garmin International this year has introduced an array of new electronics, including sonar, radar and multifunction displays, as well as wearable accessories.
In the last few months, Garmin introduced seven major products, including the new Fantom solid-state radar, its largest multi-function display (the GPSMAP 84/8600), a marine GPS smartwatch and an in-view sunglasses attachment for streaming boat performance and other data.
Garmin is demonsted the products at a three-day media event in Miami that started Tuesday.
The equipment is installed on four center consoles: 25- and a 39-foot Contenders, a 42-foot Invincible and a 38-foot Jupiter. The boats are based at Sea Isle Marina at the Marriott Biscayne Bay.
