A good Samaritan recreational boater rescued six people off a burning boat on Thursday afternoon in the Florida Keys.
Coast Guard officials said the 40-foot powerboat was southwest of Islamorada when the fire broke out.
Boaters in the area are being asked to not attempt to approach the burning vessel.
