A man who disappeared from his yacht off northern Sydney, Australia, while his wife slept on deck died after he fell overboard, a coroner ruled.
Miroslaw (Michael) Majkowski, 57, went missing from his 32-foot yacht while sailing through on June 26, 2011.
“I’m satisfied that, for some reason, he fell overboard while his wife was asleep,” Deputy State Coroner Paul MacMahon told the Sydney Morning Herald. “I don’t know and I can’t make a finding as to why he fell overboard.”
