The International Yacht Restoration School expanded the scholarship opportunities for students applying to the Rhode Island-based school’s three full-time programs.
The scholarships, which are expected to draw a competitive pool of applicants for fall 2013 admission, are the direct result of the strong emphasis the school has placed on raising scholarship funding; in 2011, the IYRS set an ambitious goal of raising $4 million for scholarships during the 2011-2015 period.
For all named scholarships, the priority deadline is April 19 and the final deadline is July 1.
