After the engine on their 22-foot cuddy cabin powerboat caught fire and lost power about 300 yards offshore, two lifeguards on duty at Juno Beach, Fla., took to the water.
“They got pushed into the surf and it was getting real dangerous,” one lifeguard told the local press. “I decided to go in and one guard went out on a paddleboard.”
