An Australian angler and his wife have released footage of a 10-foot mako shark circling their boat and repeatedly chomping on his propeller.

Damien Dwyer was fishing with his wife Teeny on their boat about 12 miles off the coast of Dampier, in western Australia. The incident happened last September.

The couple filmed the incident and posted it online a few weeks ago and say the massive 10-foot shark bit furiously on the boat propeller for 10 to 15 minutes.

“All it wanted to do was bite the boat … it was like it was angry at it,” the husband told the Australian press.
