The local sheriff’s department in Bentonville, Ark., reported that a man on a boat was killed by a lightning strike over the weekend on Beaver Lake.
“Him and his wife were out in a boat with a striper guide,” Keshia Guyll, sheriff office spokesman, told the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette. “It started raining so they were trying to head back.”
