The Ocean Pines Association fired the manager of its Maryland yacht club after the club’s revenues for the summer missed the target.
Club general manager Bob Thompson announced at a meeting of the board of directors that Joe Reinhart, head of the club since 2008, had been let go.
“It was time to change direction,” Thompson said in an interview, saying he held all of his management staff accountable for their departments. “We weren’t hitting the numbers we agreed to.”
