A missing boater from Florida’s Charlotte County was found safe after being spotted by a pilot Friday near Sanibel Island.
The 42-year-old angler told authorities he set out for an afternoon of fishing when his boat developed mechanical problems and his short fishing trip ended up turning into an overnight ordeal.
