Mainship Pilot 43 Sedan
The Pilot 43 Sedan combines the interior features of Mainship’s new 43 Trawler with the exterior styling of its Pilot series sedans and express-style cruisers.
There is a hot-and-cold freshwater cockpit shower, and an option for a transom summer galley with a sink, two-burner propane stove, refrigerator and icemaker. The engine room is beneath the cockpit sole.
The 43 has what Mainship calls a “glass bulkhead” between the cockpit and saloon, which is finished in cherry. The saloon area has an L-shaped Ultraleather settee and table to starboard, and an entertainment center with a 23-inch flat-screen television. The raised helm station is forward and to starboard, with a side cabin door; a sunken galley is to port. The galley is equipped with a microwave, three-burner electric stove, refrigerator and freezer drawers, double sink, Corian countertops, and storage under the laminate galley sole.
Accommodations below include a master stateroom forward and guest stateroom/office to starboard. The master stateroom contains a centerline queen-size island berth, Ultraleather seating, and cedar-lined hanging lockers, as well as private access to the port-side head compartment with stall shower. The guest stateroom contains a stowable computer desk, sofa that converts to a full-size berth, and a cedar-lined hanging locker.
Wide side decks are flanked by a standard 316 stainless steel bow rail. Stainless steel grab rails and a rubrail with stainless steel insert also are standard. Options include air conditioning, bow thruster, central vacuum, generator, inverter, windlass and dripless shaft logs.

Strike Yachts has been building semicustom sportfishing boats since 1977, and its Strike 37 Walk Around, with true deck-level walkaround access, has been two years in the making.
The boat has an approximately 50-gallon transom live well and an in-deck fishbox with macerator that runs the length of the cockpit. There is seating on the raised bridge deck.
Inside the walkaround cabin is a V-berth forward with lockers and a flat-screen television above, sofa and hanging locker to port, another berth abaft the companionway steps, and a galley and head to starboard. Galley equipment includes a sink, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. Most owners add a tuna tower or half-tower, according to the builder, and custom work — from hull color to live well seating, refrigerated boxes and custom rod storage — can be arranged.

EdgeWater 318
EdgeWater’s 318 Center Console, the flagship of the Edgewater, Fla., builder’s lineup of outboard fishing boats, is built using a new closed-mold composite construction technique. The Single Piece Infusion process involves the vacuum infusion of vinylester resin into the structural grid and hull laminate simultaneously, resulting in a strength-to-weight ratio greater than open-molded boats, according to EdgeWater.
The unsinkable boat has stainless steel toe rails and a recessed stainless steel bow rail, as well as U-shaped bow seating with storage underneath, forward console seat storage, in-console storage, a 620-quart in-deck fishbox, and in-gunwale and locking rod storage. There is a marine head and shower in the console. At the transom is a 66-gallon bait well/fishbox, freshwater sink and shower, and 28-gallon bait well.
Options include an aluminum-framed leaning post with tackle center, live well and cooler options; fiberglass bow table and filler cushion; and fiberglass or canvas T-top.

Panga 22 LX
The panga skiff design, with its narrow beam and rounded, upswept bow, has been used for small open workboats around the world. Four years ago Miami-based Panga Fishing Boats licensed Yamaha’s 30-year-old outboard-powered panga design and updated it with amenities for the U.S. recreational market.
Now Panga has redesigned its most popular model, a 22-footer, with such features as higher freeboard, smooth gelcoat liner, molded non-skid on decks and gunwales, more in-deck storage, and increased fuel capacity.
There is a one-year bow-to-stern warranty that’s followed by a nine-year structural warranty, for a total of 10 years of coverage.
The 22 LX, which is finished and rigged in Miami, has a center console layout with a leaning post, live well, stainless steel rod holders and a full cockpit liner.
