US Sailing announced a new Web series at the Volvo Ocean Race stopover in Newport, R.I.
“The Beat” goes on tour this summer with the goal of capturing the essence of sailing. In the premiere, host Katy Nastro explores the Newport stopover of the Volvo race.
Nastro interviews sailors who are in the race and takes a look at the Veterans Regatta, which hosted wounded war veterans, many of whom were on the water for the first time.
