The giant cruise ship Ovation of the Seas was floated out of Meyer Werft’s covered building dock II in Germany last week.
The Royal Caribbean International (RCI) ship is the third Quantum class vessel and follows Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas. The Quantum class exceed RCI’s earlier Freedom class ships by over 14,000 GT, and are the second largest class of passenger ships behind RCI’s Oasis class ships on a gross tonnage basis.
