On the waters of Anglers Marina in Dania Beach, Fla., sit millions of dollars worth of vessels — many outfitted with pricey electronics to which local detectives say two people are helping themselves.
“They’re after high-end electronics,” said Police Sgt. Kenneth Bowermaster. “These are units that are worth anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000 each.”
Bowermaster said a young couple is behind the burglaries. They can be seen on surveillance video walking hand-in-hand nonchalantly as if they belong on the marina.
