A restored Chris-Craft Continental will be auctioned online April 2 by AuctionsAmerica.com.
The 21-foot, 1960 runabout with hardtop has been meticulously restored with more than $100,000 invested, according to the auction house. It is reported to be one of only 96 built and part of approximately, “a dozen known to exist.”
The Continental has automobile styling with a factory fiberglass hardtop that is supported by detailed aluminum struts. The boat runs with a Lincoln-based Chris-Craft 430-cid, 275-hp V-8 engine.
Included in the sale is a new custom tandem-axle trailer as well as a waterline mooring cover.
The estimated value is reported to be between $125,000 and $150,000.
