A sailboat beached in Norfolk during Hurricane Irene was destroyed by fire, according to the Virginian-Pilot.
Michael Calabrese was hoping to be able to right and repair the 30-foot vessel before the government did it for him and sent him a bill he could not pay. He was rescued along with his girlfriend and cat during the storm.
