Authorities say the victim of a deadly shark attack in Central California was a body boarder whose leg was bitten off.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown tells the Lompoc Record that the 20-year-old was attacked Friday morning at Surf Beach. Brown says a friend on a surfboard got the victim to shore but he bled to death.
