Michigan-based manufacturer Sharrow Marine has announced a global licensing agreement with Australian-based manufacturer VEEM. The partnership gives VEEM the rights to manufacture and sell the Sharrow propeller for inboard-powered vessels. Until now, the Sharrow propeller, which is considered a technological breakthrough in propeller design, was only being sold for outboard-powered vessels. Together, the brands plan to launch a series of propellers called Sharrow by VEEM that they say will be quieter and more fuel-efficient than anything currently offered on the market. As of now, the manufacturers plan to build propellers for superyachts and commercial vessels ranging from 30 to 90 feet.

“We are thrilled to embark on this journey together to set a new standard for performance and sustainability,” said Brad Miocevich, Chairman of VEEM Ltd. “We believe this will be nothing less than transformative for the inboard market.”
