A baby was taken to a Minnesota hospital after a boat carrying six people, including a 4-month-old and a 5-year-old, hit a submerged tree and threw its occupants overboard.
No one was wearing a life jacket, authorities told the Associated Press.
The six were on a 16-foot boat on the Minnesota River when it capsized.
The boat’s occupants were separated before they were able to reach shore and call for help.
No one else was injured. There was no word today on the baby’s condition.
