A boat sits on rocks in Connecticut’s Branford Harbor after a man and his neighbors tried to save it when waves parted it from it’s mooring.
“All the neighbors came to help. We tried to rescue it and it wasn’t possible because the waves were too big,” Francesco D’Amuri, who owns the boat.
D’Amuri, told WTNH 8 News.
Branford fire officials who rescued several would-be salvors during the storm, were critical that none were wearing PFDs.
