Complimenting the full-displacement, oceangoing models built by parent company Kadey-Krogen Yachts, Summit Motoryachts is a completely new builder focusing on stout, passage-making yachts with planing hulls.
The builder’s first model, the Summit Motoryachts 54, is well underway at the builder’s Taiwan factory, and hull number one recently was released from the mold. These pictures give an interesting look at what will eventually be a luxurious and capable motoryacht with a 23-knot cruising speed and an anticipated range of 330 nautical miles.
The boat is being built in Taiwan alongside the Kadey-Krogen lineup. It measures 58 feet, 5 inches overall and has a beam of 15 feet, 10 inches. Inside is a three-stateroom layout.
The Summit Motoryachts 54 is expected to launch by the end of the year.
