A man was rescued off the Irish coast after getting into serious difficulty after his boat capsized. Locals alerted the coast guard after a person was seen in the water by the boat off County Donegal at about 5 p.m.
The distressed man was tied to his boat with line wrapped four times – and was sinking with the boat at this time.
A rescuer had to cut the sinking man loose with his knife in a last minute effort to save him.
