A 37-year-old man from New Smyrna Beach, Fla., said he found himself fighting for survival moments after he met a man who claimed interest in buying a boat Kroll had advertised on the popular classifieds website Craigslist.
“I think he would have killed me if he had the chance,” the boat owner told a reporter, adding that both men ended up falling overboard in the struggle.
