This video went viral a couple of years ago, but it has recently resurfaced because it’s so cool.
It’s a publicity photo shoot that involves Cunard and the captain of its ocean liner Queen Mary 2. The result is an image of Capt. Kevin Oprey proudly standing on the ship’s bulbous bow.
Here’s how they pulled it off.
Oprey is still at the helm of QM2, which will embark on a new chapter as she undergoes an extensive 25-day dry dock in May and June at the Blohm + Voss Shipyard in Hamburg, Germany.
