All of the ingredients for a fine day on the water were there: bright sunshine, a nice bay boat, plenty of fish, even a pretty woman in a bikini.
Fortunately for the folks on board, the waterspout that formed remained far enough away to only provide a pleasant distraction for the anglers fishing for cobia in the Florida Keys.
“Watch it slowly — you can see it, like, coming up,” someone on board can be heard saying in this video uploaded to Vimeo last weekend.

As quickly as it appeared, the waterspout peters out.
“How cool is that? And in that much of an instant, it just fell apart.”
