Two crewmembers aboard a tugboat in Portsmouth, N.H., barely had enough time to jump ship Wednesday as the sinking vessel became pinned against a barge.

The 55-foot Benjamin Bailey went under about two hours before low tide, according to Foster’s Daily Democrat. The video here shows the tug being pinned against the barge and turned sideways as one crewmember jumps onto the barge.

“We don’t know why it went down yet,” Archer Western spokeswoman Carol Morris said. “Obviously there’s going to be an investigation.”

Archer Western is the company running the project that the Benjamin Bailey was working on.
