Here’s a video we found that’s hard not to like: A pod of playful dolphins swim alongside a sailboat off the San Diego coast.
What makes this video different is that the moment was captured both from the air with a camera drone and — at about the halfway point — the perspective shifts to film from an underwater GoPro camera.
“For fun each year, I sail my boat from San Diego to Catalina Island,” explains the skipper/videographer, Kurt Roll of Low Altitude Films. “On my way home I’ve always seen a pod of dolphins off La Jolla. This time I had my quad copter with me.”
