We don’t know the story behind this video — only that it does not end well.
What appears to be a simple haulout of an Islander 30 gets complicated in a heartbeat. Halfway up the ramp, the boat breaks free of its tie-downs and rolls back on its keel before flopping over on its side.
From what little we can tell from the short clip, there seems to be a one-foot gap between the rear boat stands on the trailer and the stern of the boat.
Hope he had insurance.
