The Croatian shipyard Brodosplit recently launched a 500-foot, 14,000-ton K3000 Class heavy-lifting vessel that will be fitted with two 1,500-ton-capacity mast cranes — a prototype that is the largest heavy lifter in the world, according to the builder.

The twist to this launch day is that the shipyard documented it from multiple camera angles using GoPro HD action cameras, including one mounted to a radio-controlled quadcopter.
