Take this one filmed by professional photographer Sean O’Shea, who was capturing the surfing action at Wategos Beach in Australia’s Byron Bay, home to some of the best breaking waves in the world.
When a pod of dolphins joins in the action, even the best surfers can’t keep pace.
“As the dolphins ride the waves, surfers watch in amazement and whoop and holler, with some trying to catch waves with them while others flail away,” reads a report by GrindTV.com.
“We love it when the dolphins finally have enough at the 1:40 mark and suddenly jump out of the wave going the opposite direction, almost as if they were taking a bow after the performance.”
