Skimboards usually are used for skimming along on shallow waters near the beach, not riding huge waves, but don’t tell that to professional skimboarder Brad Domke.

Domke is making a name for himself riding major surf on a 4-foot skimboard — basically a short surfboard with no skeg for control, so maneuvering is more challenging.

In early July, Domke was off Puerto Escondido, Mexico, doing what seems to be impossible. Check it out and see what we mean.
