We’ve never seen anything quite like this approach to launching a boat. The owner sits on the front of his trailer, presumably to prevent it from tipping backward as he rides it down to the water.
Uploaded by a man named Sean Palmer, who has posted other outdoors videos to YouTube, the clip appears to have been filmed somewhere in the British Isles.
“Don’t use this method on a slipway or a steep beach and be sure the brakes are in good nick. Maybe it’s best left to the expert,” Palmer writes. “If not left hitched up to the tow vehicle, a safer way is use a rope to keep away from slippy ground.”
Either way, this boater looks ready to roll.
