There has never been a better time to be an adrenaline junkie on the water. From the inventor of the Flyboard — a waterjet device that allows users to “fly” over and under water via special propulsion boots — comes the Hoverboard.
Introduced by professional PWC racer Franky Zapata, the Hoverboard uses a water stream from the output of an attached PWC to launch riders as much as 16 feet into the air at 25 mph. The thrust from the PWC is routed through a 60-foot hose up to the Hoverboard.
The guys in this video make riding a Hoverboard look easy and it sure looks like fun. The complete 3-1/2-minute video is available on YouTube.
