A Florida man trying to sell his boat over Craigslist is lucky to be alive after a would-be buyer pulled a gun and fired a shot at him in what the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is calling an “armed boat-jacking.”
The 37-year-old victim, who has not been identified, placed an ad in hopes of selling a 16-foot Savage Creek Classic, according to Volusia County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Brandon Haught.
