Marinas
• On Manhattan, what few choices exist are on the Hudson River side of the island. Closest to the harbor is North Cove Marina (www.thenorth cove.com), located at the World Financial Center. Dockage is $6 per foot. City-owned West 79th Street Boat Basin, farther up the river, is a more affordable $2.79 per foot for transients (www.nycgovparks.org).
